Eric Heuser
Founder and Director
Eric has spent the past 20 years exploring what truly connects people — as an ethnographer, coach, trainer, and market researcher. His work lives at the intersection of intercultural communication, management, bias awareness, anti‑racism, diversity, LGBTQI+ advocacy, and competence‑oriented academic consulting.
Trained in social and cultural anthropology and international management, and holding a PhD in sociology, he blends rigorous academic insight with hands‑on practice.
From Australia to China, Germany to Indonesia, and the USA, he has led intercultural projects that don’t just bridge gaps, but also spark genuine understanding and lasting change. What drives him?
A belief that context matters, that listening deeply transforms perspectives, and that diversity is not just to be acknowledged — but celebrated.
Sybille Assmann
Sybille brings together clinical expertise, teaching experience, and a deep passion for understanding the human mind and body. In her own psychotherapy and supervision practice, as well as in her teaching at multiple psychotherapy institutes, she helps others grow — both professionally and personally.
Her academic path led her deep into neuropsychology, occupational and organisational psychology, and clinical psychology. In daily practice, she works at the intersection of mind and body, specialising in body psychotherapy, psychosomatics, guided affective imagery therapy, and psycho-traumatology. What defines her approach is not only a mastery of methods, but also the capacity to create a safe, attuned space where people can connect with their inner resources and move toward true and sustainable change.
Matthew Batson
Matthew is an ethnographically experienced clinical psychologist, born and raised in the Caribbean — where he continues to live and practice. For over a decade, he has worked at the intersection of intercultural psychology and mental health, bringing a deep understanding of cultural context to every interaction. By using creative, playful elements that build empathy and mutual understanding, Matthew helps organisations strengthen collaboration while fostering personal growth. By using creative elements that playfully train empathy and mutual understanding, he supports organizational development and personal growth.
Silke Irmscher
Silke is a trained business economist, psychologist, and certified intercultural trainer. For more than 20 years, she has lived and worked between Indonesia and Germany, advising global companies on how to build culturally diverse and truly inclusive workplace cultures. Her mission: to create psychologically safe environments where every individual — regardless of personal, professional, or cultural background — feels respected, supported, and able to contribute fully. By combining her expertise in business, psychology, and intercultural communication, Silke helps organisations go beyond diversity as a concept and turn it into an everyday lived experience for their teams around the world.
Katrin Sonntag
Katrin is an experienced ethnographer, consultant, and coach. A certified coach (E.C.A.) and trainer, she teaches ethnography at the University of Basel in Switzerland, where she guides students in exploring how to truly understand people and their contexts. Before moving into academia and coaching, Katrin spent years as a Senior Business Consultant, leading an international team across China and Germany. Her professional journey has taken her to India, China, Iceland, the USA, Switzerland, Belgium, Thailand, and Yemen — giving her a rich cross‑cultural lens that shapes all of her work. For Katrin, ethnography and coaching are more than professional tools — they are pathways to understanding both context and the individual, and powerful means to support meaningful change and personal growth.
